I love it. It might be cold and a little bit hard to stay for more than a few minutes outside, but I love it anyways because I've been waiting for snow all year.
The craziest thing is that yesterday I was shooting soccer outside in a tshirt, and today it snowed a couple of inches… but that's Kentucky for you!
Before class (and before it got even colder), my friend Meghan and I had planned on going out and taking pictures, but when I walked out of my last class (which ended at 2:50) it was absolutely freezing.
So, I think I'm just going to stick with these slightly less exciting pictures due to the fact that I just don't think I can handle freezing my fingers off today after getting used to such warm weather yesterday.
Maybe tomorrow the snow will still be there and it'll be just a little bit warmer... I really don't ask for much!
Oh, also I've been looking up Polaroid and instant print cameras today… my family had a big bulky one back in the day, but we ended up getting rid of it because the film has gotten expensive.
Apparently Polaroid stopped making instant film in 2008, so now all of the film for the older instant cameras is expired and hard to find.
Luckily, there are now a couple of new types of instant print cameras available that are somewhat affordable (generally around $100 or less), with film that isn't horribly expensive.
Because of that, and my love for cameras, I'm thinking about using my next paycheck to purchase one, film and all… Probably/hopefully a Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 in a pretty color… or white since that's the cheapest.
Anyway, just thought I'd share. I'm also really excited because my first roll of film from the Minolta is finally almost all of the way used up and I can't wait to develop the pictures!
