Anyway! First you see my delicious dinner at La Finca. My mom came to Morehead to eat dinner with me after weights and running.
After trying most of Morehead's limited restaurant selection, I've decided that my personal favorites are Mellini's and La Finca when it comes to dinner.
...Or DQ, but that's just because I love flamethrowers and ice cream!
So back to my night... After my mom left I picked up a package that she sent me earlier this week for Valentine's Day...
I was probably supposed to wait to open it until the day of, but I got excited after picking it up and tore it open.
Inside I found candy, a bunch of old movies, a card from both my parents, a Starbucks gift card, and (my favorite) a heart covered apron.
The apron came in handy as soon as I finished opening the package, too, since I ended up baking a ton of chocolate chip cookies!
And here are (some of) the cookies... The baseball boys ate half of them before I could even get them off the trays to cool though.
But that's okay, I made the cookies for them anyway since they have their opening weekend this weekend.
Hopefully they'll do well, but I guess we'll see!
That's all I really have to say about today... except that I am still recovering from my hour and a half day.
