For once, I had very little to do today, so I took advantage of that!
First, I went to The Fuzzy Duck for an awesome lunch...
The Fuzzy Duck is a locally owned coffeeshop located on Main Street in what used to be a movie theater.
It's a pretty cool place, as I think I mentioned before in a blogpost featuring the outside of the cafe, and it's even cooler because it's connected to a locally owned bookshop.
You can eat in either the cafe area or the bookstore area, (although I usually choose a window seat), and the food is delicious!
After I ate there though, I was really craving sweets, so I went to Walmart and started baking... for about 4 hours.
The products: Nutella Puppy Chow and Iced Oatmeal Cookies.
These were both SO good, and I felt like they were (maybe, kinda, sorta) healthier than some of the sweets that I usually make, although they weren't exactly LowCal...
Anyway, click on the link above and you can see the recipe for Nutella Puppy Chow... the Iced Oatmeal I combined a couple of recipes, so I may post that recipe the next time I bake them! (Which will be soon since they were delicious!
