March 1

It has been quite an eventful day today. First, I woke up around 9 or 9:30, made myself some scrambled eggs, and got ready for the first baseball game. I ended up going to pretty much all but 30 minutes of the baseball that was played in Morehead today, which was a little ridiculous.

From 10am- 5:30pm, I was at the field except for when a few of my teammates and I attempted to get some Starbucks from ADUC. Apparently there was some kind of open house here this weekend, so ADUC was open for a few hours in the middle of the day so that the people who went to it could eat, and Starbucks had opened for the occasion.

Unfortunately, my friends and I literally got there right as they were shutting the doors, and we didn't get our coffee. Why the Starbucks here can't just be open on the weekends always, I don't really know, but either way we had to make our own before we headed back to the game.

So that was disappointing, but on the bright side our team actually won the first game today! It was a close game, but we managed to pull it out and won! We followed that by an unfortunately significant loss, but we actually played okay the second game too, we just lost it right at the end when they scored a ton of runs in a row.

Anyway enough about baseball... I don't even have a picture from baseball today! After the game Tayler, Erin, Ashley, Meghan and I all went to Yamato. It's one of the few restaurants in Morehead that I had not been to, and I wanted to try it before we all left for Spring Break and such.

So we went, and I got some spicy (cooked) sushi, tried some Wasabi (and found out it totally doesn't affect me), showered, and went to the basketball game!

Not all of the girls went though, I think we were all pretty tired from the seven hours of baseball we watched, but it was the last home game of the season, and I somehow hadn't gone to one all year, so I went... and we lost, but it was a good game!

Anyway, that's most of my day. I ended up driving people around quite a bit tonight too, but there's nothing to exciting to say about that!
