December 25

****MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!****

Well, quite a few years ago, Jesus was born, and as today's the day we celebrate His birth, I'm happy to say my family celebrated it well today!

First we woke up and ate a big Sunday-style family breakfast which was delicious. Then, my sister and I opened up our stockings (which were mostly full of socks) and then all five of my family members (my sister is married) went downstairs to open the rest of our gifts... I got literally 20 pairs of socks and a bunch of clothes, and two small pretty necklaces.

My favorite was probably the silver Kentucky necklace with a heart over about where Lexington is, although I really liked all of it to be honest.
Anyways, after our traditional morning Christmas, we left our house at around 1:00 to go to my grandma's house to celebrate Christmas with our extended family in Louisville.

It was good to see everyone, although it's always pretty tiring at the same time for some reason.

To explain the pictures, the first two are obviously what I woke up to this morning, Christmas tree and stocking wise, and the other two are from the drive to Grandma's.

I especially like the picture of the icicles... I snapped it out the window while we were going about 80 miles per hour, so I'm pretty proud of it considering I was just clicking away and hoping for the best!
