Good morning! For once in my life I'm actually doing today's blog post before dark! (This is kind of a big deal for me)
Anyways, this morning I woke up, had a little coffee that I made myself since I can actually drink it now that we bought this Caramel Macchiato International Delight creamer stuff yesterday (also a big deal for me).
Then I got a text from this girl I became friends with over the summer whose name is Mary. She moved to Memphis shortly after the week at camp where we met, and I haven't seen her since.
She also really loves photography, and we've been planning to get together to mess around with our cameras for a long time now. Luckily, she's finally in town again, so tomorrow we're finally going to do it tomorrow.
I'm really excited about it, and as I was thinking about what we were going to do/take pictures of, I started thinking about this old Minolta film camera that my uncle Mark gave me a few years ago when he found out that I was (and am) interested in photography.
Today I figured out that with just four AA batteries, the flash still works. I was so excited when I figured this out that I loaded it up with some film, and I'm going to finally start actually using it to take good pictures tomorrow... and I'm just extra excited now.
Let's hope they all turn out good! I can't wait... also here's a picture of my morning coffee.
