Well, it's another day closer to Christmas! Now, I'm finally done with all of my Christmas shopping, and our house is just about as Christmas-y and clean as it could possibly get, and I'm loving it.
I haven't started baking cookies yet, but I'm planning to do that for most of the day tomorrow, until I go to have fun with Kate in Winchester tomorrow night...
Anyways, for now here are a couple of endearing pictures of my dog. Katie has been my best friend since I was 3 years old. She's my 15 year old puppy, and I hope she lives forever.
Even though she's old now, she'll still perform the tricks she learned when she was only a few months old, including playing dead if you aim a "gun" (aka your pointer finger) at her and say "bang!"

I've never met another dog even a little bit like her, especially considering her age. But anyways, enough about my little beagle mutt and on to the pictures...
This first one I like the way the colors look. I was trying to make it look a bit antique-ish. Not sure if I actually succeeded, but I still think it looks pretty good.

Then I always love black and white. Especially with a little bit of bokeh lights in the background... Not sure what she's looking at, but she's pretty cute all the same!
And finally, who doesn't love a picture of a dog yawning?? (Well, I love them at least)
Anyways, I'm really excited for tomorrow, and if I'm feeling like it I may even post one of my favorite cookie recipes.
But until then, it's hallmark and relaxing!
Except for training in the morning... gotta burn off a few calories before I eat half the cookies I bake! I make them bite size, so one batch tends to make a hundred or two cookies.
