Tonight I've been hanging out in Winchester.... I don't have a great picture but I do have this from riding the razor around the farm. I got a bunch of mud in my hair but I had a lot of fun!
Obviously these pictures aren't amazing but hey I'm having fun and at least I remembered to upload something!
Also, I did end up baking over 200 chocolate chip cookies today! I started to make some jumbles too, but they didn't turn out quite right unfortunately! Anyways, here's another pictures of some cookie dough....
These were some of the best cookies I've made in awhile, and I've been working on giving them to all of my friends as little mini Christmas presents!
Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe:-1/2 cup butter
-1/2 cup Crisco shortening
-3/4 cup granulated sugar
-3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups semi semisweet chocolate pieces
Preheat 350 degrees. Beat butter and shortening until well combined; add both sugars, baking soda and salt, beat until combined; add eggs and vanilla, beat until combined; beat in flour and add chocolate chips. Bake 8-12 minutes (bake time will vary with cookie size).
Pretty much your standard from-scratch chocolate chip cookie recipe, but for some reason they just turn out extra good sometimes.
